He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Willis and Marietta Willis; and his brother Eddie Earl Willis. He is survived by: his wife Ruth of Port Gibson; his children, Lindsey Claire Willis of Madison, Nelson Spencer (Lauren) of Madison and John Marshall (Kayla) of Madison; and his granddaughters, Ana Spencer, Holland and Sarah Claire.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
