She was predeceased by: her husband David Abbott; and her daughter Margaret Abbott Varnado. She is survived by: her sons, Dexter Abbott and Tom Abbott; her grandchildren, Zeke Raner (Ginger) and Emily Abbott Baker (George); her great grandchildren, Sam and Mary Margaret Baker; and her brothers, Tommy Beard and Billy Beard.
