He was predeceased by: his parents, Amelia Wilty Dauenhauer and Oscar Charles Dauenhauer, Sr.; his former wife Alice Anne Davis Dauenhauer; his son David Dauenhauer; and his brother Steven Dauenhauer.
He is survived by: his daughter Carolyn Jane; his wife Eleanor Brantley Dickerson Dauenhauer (Jackson); his daughter Anne McLaughlin; his children-in-law, Larry McLaughlin, Stephen Seal and Mary K. Dauenhauer Perez; his grandchildren, Rachel Seal Guy, Jared Dauenhauer, Stephanie Seal Walters, Brenden Dauenhauer and Elizabeth McLaughlin; and his great grandchildren, Stan Dickerson, Scott Dickerson (Bridget), Steve Dickerson, Ron Dickerson and Laurie Dickerson Jones (Matt). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
