She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Roland Byrd and Mae C Byrd; her husband Edward "Ed" Hodge; her brothers, Alredge, Elmer and George Byrd; her grandson David Hall; and her son Steven Hodge (Lajuana).

She is survived by: her children, Stanley Hodge, Sharon Beall (Jesse), Brenda Snowden and Tammy Bullen (John Terrell); her grandchildren, Tasha, Julie, Christopher, Tiffany, Eric, Felicia, Shannon, Nikki, Ashley, Tyler, Abrill, Dwayne and Beth; her great grandchildren, Christopher Jr. "CJ", Beaux, Laken, Tristin, Gabrielle, Gatlin, Annabeall, David III, Ava, Ayden, Kaleb and Christian; and her great great grandchildren, Judson and Briar.
