She was predeceased by: her brother Larry Massey, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Martin Jim Toomer; her parents, Larry Massey and Sue Massey; her daughter Carolyn Sue Lilly (Lola); her grandchildren, Lenora, Joanna, McKenzie and Amelia Rose; and her sister Henrietta Massey.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the White Funeral Home (315 US-11, Poplarville, MS 39470). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. At the height of the covid pandemic she was able to fulfill her life dream and became a travel nurse.
