She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Louis William and Mabel Shanley Sornson; her husband Harry Wheat; her daughter Patricia Cowart (Ellis); her grandchildren, Kelsey Cowart, Brittany Cowart, Renee Fontenot, John Vance and Ronnie Mclemore; and her great grandchildren, Tristan Mclemore, Miranda Fontenot, Richard Oates, John "Junior" Vance and Carly Cowart.
