We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2022, at the age of 93, Laura Ellen Platt of Poplarville, Mississippi, born in Monroe, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Mary Susan Franks. She is survived by: her husband Oliver Dewey Platt; and her children, Kathy Platt and Thomas A. Platt (Betty). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
