Katie Rose Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2022, at the age of 89, Katie Rose Smith of Poplarville, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Burge and Mae Burge; her brother Dwight Burge (Eleanor) of Hattiesburg; and her husband Earl J. Smith. She is survived by: her children, Sheila Smith of St. Simons Island, Georgia, Jerry Smith (Debra) of Poplarville, MS and Kenneth Smith (Jan) of Plano, TX; her grandchildren, Russell Smith (Belinda), Delinah Simmons, Kristen Lee (Landon), Amy Kelley (Packy) and Matthew Smith; and her great grandchildren, Eryn Smith, Jaycee Bridgers, Brooke Smith, Kaitlyn-Grace Smith, Braelyn Lee, Smith Kelley and Elizabeth Homans.
