With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Martinez Harper in Poplarville, Mississippi, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on February 18, 2020 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ruse Harper and Emma Ruth Martinez Harper; his siblings, Helen Breda (Ernest), Elizabeth Johnson (Karl), Joyce Haller (Ted), Claire Rive (Sandy) and William Harper; and his brothers-in-law, Franklin Gardiner, Clement Froeba and Thomas Froeba (Alice).
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Froeba Harper; his sisters, Virginia Gardiner and Nathalie Craven (George); his sister-in-law Anita Harper; his daughter Stefanie Smolen (Randy); his grandchildren, Kristian Borden (Ned), Josh Meade, Carlyn Crawford (Patrick) and Adelaide Smolen; his great grandchildren, Hollis, Hannah and Harlan Borden; his stepsons, John and Glenn Sunseri (Linda); and his stepgrandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Stephanie, Charles, Jamie and Jaelynn Sunseri.
