He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel Smith and Wallene Williams Smith. He is survived by: his brothers, Holder Stegall, Kenneth Ladner and Sam Freeman; his wife Peggy Hodge Smith; his sons, Wendell Smith (Kim) and Randall Smith (Shannon); his grandchildren, Nathan Smith, Martin Smith (Regan), Hunter Smith, Heath Smith and Heather Smith Seals (Chance); and his great grandchildren, Sabre Seals, Jase Smith, Slater Seals, Andersen Smith and Saylor Seals.
