He is survived by: his wife Brenda Alyse Philley Matthews of Poplarville; his sister Francis Annette Matthews Griffith of Poplarville; his sons, Cameron Glen Matthews of Raleigh, NC, Ernest Brady Matthews of Kennewick, WA and Jason Dean Matthews of Poplarville; his nephew Gregory Gibson Matthews (Pam); his great-niece Mollie Ann of Brandon; his grandchildren, James Austin Matthews (Marilyn) of McKinney, TX, Cameron Michael Matthews of Dayton, OH, Bradley Chase Matthews of Stringer and Bailey Layne Matthews of Kennewick; his great grandchild Andrew Chase Matthews of Florence; his friends, Roderick "Red" Pittman of South Chesterfield, VA and Jenni Sikes; and also, MJ, Landon and Gabby of Poplarville.
