It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Jane Edwards of Poplarville, Mississippi, who passed away on October 19, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil Earl Edwards; her son Frank Wayne Mercier; and her sister Helen Marie White. She is survived by: her children, Michael Travis Mercier of Poplarville, MS, Lucy Darlene Haverlock of Murfreesboro, TN and Crystal Lynn Smith of Poplarville, MS; and her brother Gary Ray Nickens of Lincolnton, NC. She is also survived by five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
