It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Lee Spiers of Poplarville, Mississippi, born in McNeill, Mississippi, who passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Glynda Anderson (Wayne), Lee Spiers (Penny), Tommy Spiers (Kathy) and Whitney Donnelly (Jack); his stepchildren, J. T. Burge and Connie Burge Gore; his brother Charles Spiers; and his close friend Ruth Preston.
