He is survived by: his wife Katherine Merritt; his daughters, Marie Carpenter and Paula Merritt; his sister Alice Johnson (late Bobby); and his grandchildren, Shawn Carpenter, Spencer Windham (Stevie), Bailey Carpenter, Rachel Carpenter, Zach Carpenter (Carly) and Ahmad Harmon.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the White Funeral Home (315 US-11, Poplarville, MS 39470). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
