He was predeceased by: his wife Fay Ann Donnell Champagne; his parents, Clifford Joseph Champagne, Sr. and Gladys Elizabeth Boihem Champagne; his son Clifford Joseph Champagne, III; his grandchildren, Matthew Gregory Duhy and Peyton Jules Chutz; his parents-in-law, Lester Patrick Donnell, Sr. and Anna Marie Lenz Donnell; and his sister Earline Champagne Bernabe.

He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Ann Smith (Daryl), Lisa Duhy (John McLaughlin), Leslie LeCompte (Richard) and Ruthanne Giardina (Angelo); and his grandchildren, Christina Hathaway (Matthew), Jessica Champagne, Kimberly Champagne, Ryan Smith (Kelsey), Melissa Berthelot (Collin), Catherine Kreps (Ricky), Jennifer Chutz (PJ), Michelle Austin (Justin), Sarah LeCompte, Angelo Giardina, Jr., Christopher Giardina, Sr. (Tiffany) and Dominick Giardina. He is also survived by 18 Great-Grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
