He is survived by: his wife Gertrude Bourgeois Waguespack; his children, Claude J Waguespack, Jr. (late Mary Lacarbo), Sharon Doucet (Wendell), Craig Waguespack (Donna), Roger Waguespack, Ricky Waguespack (late Donna), Billy (Jeanelle), Brian (Cheryl), Jody (Marsha) and Angelle Marshall (Len); and his grandchildren, Shane, Nolan, Neil, Shawn, Jacqueline, Emma, Ben, Kate, Christie, Daphne, Ashley, Dawn, Robert, Breanne, Brandi, Casey, Tracey, Caleb and Tori. He is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
