She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce Wilkes; her parents, Ernest Howell and Mildred Flowers Howell; her siblings, Sammy Howell, Haywood Howell of Arthur, Eloise Jenkins, Martha Briscoe and Elizabeth Mabry; and her daughter-in-law Christina Wilkes.
She is survived by: her children, Lee Wood of Courtland, MS., Brian Wilkes (Elizabeth) of Courtland, MS., Jeffrey Wilkes of DeFuniak Springs, FL. and Angie Todd (Raymond) of Charleston, MS.; and her grandchildren, Alicia McCormick (Clint), Steven Wood (Amber), Megan Carter (Dustin), Devin Sowersby (Danie), Jody Todd (Kisha), Benjamin Wilkes, Jonathan Wilkes (Brianna), Samantha Burke, Devynne Wilkes and Jeffrey Wilkes, Jr.. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
