He was predeceased by: his daughter Adrian Nicole Kellum; his father Joseph Carithers Kellum, Sr.; and his grandparents, Geneva Brunson of Charleston, Wade of Charleston and Francis Kellum of Charleston.
He is survived by: his son Joseph Carithers Kellum III (J. C.) of Pope; his mother Pam B. Kellum McFerrin of Charleston; his sister Amy Kellum Hillyer (Matt) of Louisville; his nieces, Bella Hillyer and Chloe Hillyer; and his stepbrothers, Barry McFerrin (Gene) and Larry McFerrin (Louise).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials be made to the First Baptist Church Charleston, MS.
