He was predeceased by: his parents, Amanda Estelle McGregory Brooks and John Barton Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kornegay Brooks of Pope, MS; his children, Pamela Brooks Ellis (Robert) of Courtland, MS, Cassie Brooks of Batesville, MS, John Scott Brooks of Courtland, MS and Andy Thomas Brooks (Rhonda) of Hernando, MS; and his sister Patricia Brooks Cole of Oxford, MS. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
