He was predeceased by: his parents, Burtrum Hy Howell and Ollie Baker Howell; his wife Jerry Howell (Taylor); and his sister Vontice H. Lambert of Pope, MS. He is survived by: his children, Having, Jamie W. "Jim" Howell, Jr. (Ann) of Memphis, TN and Susan H. Cascio (Chris) of Southaven, MS; his grandchildren, Ford Howell (Katie) of Memphis, Knox Cascio, Quinn Cascio of Southaven and Emma Howell of Nashville, TN.; his child Chris Cascio (Ann Howell); and his close friend Martha Taylor of Senatobia, MS. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
