He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Best and Mattie May Geeslin Tubbs; and his siblings, Shirley Ann Tubbs Floyd, Ruby Carlene Tubbs and John Paul Tubbs.

He is survived by: his nephew Will Floyd (Jennifer) of Batesville; his great-nephews, Colton Lee Stevens (Chelsey) and Payton Floyd; and also, Kallie Grace, Lilly and Ryder Lane.
