With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Curtis Wayne Cranford of Pope, Mississippi, born in Brinkley, Arkansas, who passed away on September 17, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Lee (Alvin) and Youlon Cranford; his brothers, Robert Edward and Billie Gene; his sister-in-law Brenda; his pet BoBo; his siblings, Harvey Johnson, Jerry (Mary), Harold (Sandy) and Helen; and his sister-in-law Iris.
He is survived by: his significant other Jo Carol; his daughters, Jaime Cranford and Kelly Stokes (Shawn); his grandchildren, Dylan Clevenger (Raven), Lexie Clevenger (Nicolas) and Kayla Longenecker (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Olivia, Peyton and Elizabeth; his grandchildren, MacKenzie Stokes, Harper Stokes, Ariel and Aurora Stokes; and his in-laws, AJ and Jean Mace. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home (701 N 94th St, Kansas City, KS 66112). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 2:15 PM to 2:25 PM at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (701 N 94th St, Kansas City, KS 66112).
