He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Aron and Gola Overby Aron; his wife Shelba Seales Aron; his son Gary Scott Aron; his brother-in-law James Polk; and his daughter-in-law Margaret Aron.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Tackitt (Clyde); his grandchildren, Natalie Washington (Raymond), Sarah Baldwin (Clay), Justin Robinson (Jala), Ben Robinson (Lauren), Jon Robinson (Alisha), Anthony Jones (Mattie), Tracy Tackitt and Robin Tackitt; his sisters, Sue Polk and Peggy Young (Carl); and his close friend Sue Burtram. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
