He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles Rayburn and Ethel Gerry Whitehead; his siblings, John Whitehead, Sr., Gerry Whitehead and Barbara Owens; and his granddaughter Miracle Whitehead.

He is survived by: his significant other Donna Summar; his son Miles Whitehead (Joni); his grandchildren, Audumn, Skylar and Noah; and his siblings, Alice Swords (Randy) and Raymond Whitehead. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
