We are sad to announce that on June 8, 2023, at the age of 84, Walter J Morrison (Pontotoc, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Morrison and Lillian Morrison; his daughter Angela Morrison Sweatman; his daughter-in-law Stacey Morrison; and his brothers, Clinton, Marvin Morrison (Oudia) and Gernie Morrison (Ethel).
He is survived by: his wife Jean Rowell Morrison; his sons, Carl David Morrison of Pontotoc, MS and Mark Morrison of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Danielle Morrison of Pontotoc, MS and Christopher Morrison of Starkville, MS; his sister Marie Robbins (Wylie) of Memphis, TN; and his sister-in-law Alice Morrison of Pontotoc, MS. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to West Heights Baptist Church or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
