He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Holt and Blanche Roy Holt; his daughters, Mary Hicks and Theresa Thomas; his daughter-in-law Darla Pennington; his siblings, Ralph Holt, Isaac Holt and Maggie Manning; and his granddaughter Dawn Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Holt (Galloway) of Pontotoc, MS; and his children, Cindy Ransom (Claude) of Tupelo, MS, Pamela Ross (Greg) of Atlanta, GA, Flora Henderson (Bobby) of Walnut, MS, Danny Pennington of Pontotoc, MS and Ruth Brunk of Memphis, TN. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lee Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery (5257 Raymond Ave, Tupelo, MS 38801). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
