She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Teer and Dessie Young Teer. She is survived by: her husband Marlyn Townsend of Pontotoc; her children, Brenda Hoing (Terry), David Townsend (Debbie) and Kent Townsend (Beth); her grandchildren, Kevin Hoing (Daniell), Christina Carpenter, Jason Townsend and John Townsend (Jess); and her great grandchildren, Katherine Carpenter, Madalyn Carpenter, Brooklyn Carpenter and River Townsend.
