She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Smith; her parents, Daisy Belk and John H. Belk; and her sisters, Inez Hupsey, Ilene Waldo, Eurene Lantrip and Joan Waldo.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Smiley (Chris) and Alan Smith (Tina); her brother John R. Belk; and her granddaughters, Cynthia Hill (Daniel) of Olive Branch, MS, Connie Strickland of Sulligent, AL, Rebecca Faulkner (Jesse) of Aberdeen, MS and Anna Smith of Hamilton, AL. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, and nephews.
