He was predeceased by: his parents, Gundy Sappington and Evelyn Sappington. He is survived by: his wife Shelia Carpenter Sappington; his son Justin Sappington (Misty); his grandchildren, Gunner Sappington and Blevyn Sappington; and his brothers, Jim Sappington (Marilyn) and Greg Sappington (Debra). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
