She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Jean Carter and William Curtis Taylor; and her siblings, Nannie Pearl Taylor and James Taylor. She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Grisham (John) and Carrie Cossey Guerreiro; her grandchildren, Sabreena Houston (John Michael), Bell Grisham, Brady Grisham, Lila Guerreiro and Fisher Guerreiro; her great grandchildren, Emerson Houston and Landon Houston; and her brothers, T. C. Taylor and Ray Taylor.

In lieu of flowers and gift donations should be made to the American Alzheimer's Association.
