Though Maxine may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Magdalene Swanson and Powell Swanson; her son Carlton Canerdy; and her siblings, Eugene Swanson and Wondalene Dodson.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Canerdy (Anita) of Randolph, Genera Gilliam (Jimmy) of Ingomar and Melissa Benjamin (Kevin) of Hurricane; and her siblings, Powellette Swanson and Ladale Swanson. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
