She was predeceased by: her parents, Durley Sykes and Lois Louise Chandler Sykes; her son Michael Corbitt West; her granddaughter Abigail West; her son-in-law Stanley Zumback; and her siblings, James, Frank Sykes, Linda Miller and Carolyn Walker.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald West, Sr.; her children, Ronald West, Jr. (Michille) and Zenobia Zumback; her sister Durlynn Lavender; and her grandchildren, Lonnie Red (Jessica), Tiffany Koger (Alex), Chelsea Red (Roy) and Michael West (Mallory). She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
