She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sandlin and Serfornia Sandlin; her husband Avell Duke; her children, Willie Mae Ford and Clarence Duke; and her sisters, Genevia, Hazel and Eloise.
She is survived by: her children, Avell "Junior" Duke (Lois) of Beloit, WI, William Duke of Pontotoc, MS, Mable Freeman of Pontotoc, MS, Lizzie Duke Standifer of Pontotoc, MS and Wilma Kelly (Jeffery) of Tuscaloosa, AL; and her children-in-law, Barry, Jeff, Lois and Fannie. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren.
