He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Raymond Watson and Shirley Jean Pinson; his grandparents, Robert and Lillie Wordlaw; his brother James William Watson; his uncles, Willie B. Wordlaw and Billy Wordlaw; his nephew Antonio Robinson; his sister-in-law Brenda Watson; and his stepfather Bobby Joe Pinson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Oscar Watson, Robert Lee Watson, Bobby Watson, Pam Watson of Pontotoc, MS and Pearl Watson of Pontotoc, MS; his aunt Mary Ann Bell of Pontotoc, MS; his daughter Virdie Robinson; and his nieces and nephews, LaQuint, Shirley (KeKe), Barbara Kay, Marilyn, Evelyn, Tommy Lee and Oscar Oneal. He is also survived by eight great nieces; seven great nephews; and a host of cousins, friends, and co-workers.
