It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jon O'Brien Bland of Pontotoc, Mississippi, who passed away on December 21, 2022, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Quay Bland and Bobbye Staten Bland; his grandparents, Hullette, Jessie Holley Bland, Whitson and Carnell Murphy Staten; his aunt Jerrie Staten Stanford; and his uncles, Winfred, Winston and Chester Bland.
He is survived by: his children, Connor Bland and Alivia Bland; the mother of his children Paula Swanson; and his siblings, Marka Baldwin (Mark), Kim Craig (Mike) and Chip Bland. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts, and an uncle.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to South Pontotoc Band Program or North Pontotoc Band Program.
