He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyle Smith and Mavis Tutor Smith; his son Johnny Shane Smith; and his siblings, Patricia Daniels, William Smith and Rachel Bagwell.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Smith; his daughters, Kim Robertson (Bo) and Bridget Smith; and his grandsons, Shane Robertson, Jonathan Robertson, Jayden Smith and Isaac Smith. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
