He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Donna Pickering; his sister Jane Andrews; his children, James Pickering (Emmie), Lex Pickering (Laura) and Mandy Thompson (Jim); his grandchildren, Cheyenne Pickering, Evelyn Pickering, Avery McLean, Landon Pickering and Jocelyn Pickering; his stepson Steve Kelly (Kim); his stepgrandchildren, Heather Cox (Rick) and Corey Smith (Chandler); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Wesley Cox, Lydia Smith and Levi Smith; his parents, J. W. Pickering and Ernestine Pickering; his brother David Pickering; and his stepgrandson Peyton Dyer.
