He was predeceased by: his father Fletcher Land; his stepfather Gene Rose; his brother Eugene; and his son Randy Land. He is survived by: his mother Estella Rose (Gene); his daughters, Victoria (Cory), Felicia (Michael) and Christine (Dustin); his sister-in-law Mary Jo (Eugene); his brothers, Albert (Linda), Daniel (Melissa) and Chris (Marcella); and his close friend Sophia. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Maple Drive Presbyterian Church (146 Maple Dr, Pontotoc, MS 38863).
