He was predeceased by: his parents, Lavon Barker and Anece Barker; his mother-in-law Mildred Carter; and his brother Charles Wayne Barker. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Barker; his daughters, Melissa Lackey (Carey), Deana Tryon (Marcus) and Rikki Herdahl (Richard); his grandchildren, Marcus Graham, Devin Stewart, Kailyn Williams (Chase), Channing Lackey, Cruze Lackey, Alexis Tutor, Ryker Tryon, Lyndsey Vernon and Fisher Herdahl; his great grandchild Canon Williams; and his siblings, Thomas Barker, Perry Barker and Judy Gregg. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the West Pontotoc Pentecostal Church (266 MS-341, Pontotoc, MS 38863). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
