He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Knight; his parents, Doyle Knight and Myrl Knight; and his siblings, Raymond Knight and Martha Stroup.
He is survived by: his children, C. G. "Pete" Knight, Neita Dillard (Bob) of Saltillo and Angelia Adams (Frank) of Starkville; his siblings, Faye Campbell of Houlka, MS and Cletius Knight (Betty) of Randolph, AL; his granddaughters, Mallory Emison (Scott) and Kelly Gardner (Drew) of Smithville, MS; his great grandchildren, Reed, Miles, Willow Emison, Virginia, Dillard, Hannah, David and Laura Gardner; and also, Wayne, Mary Frances, Barney, Jane, Buddy, Jean and Esther. He is also survived by 4 nephews, and 2 nieces.
