He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Lyons and Ila Mae Lyons; his son Scott Lyons; his grandson Harrison Tutor; and his siblings, Gene, Wayne, James, Clint, Clyde, Sammy Lyons, Barbara McAlpin and Hazel Houston.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Helen Walls; his daughter Stephanie Tutor (Craig); his daughter-in-law Amanda Roth (Jason); his grandchildren, Claudia Tutor, Ella Lyons, Layla Tutor, Langston Roth and Violet Roth; his siblings, Delbert Lyons (Donna), Betty Whitten, Laura Franklin (Donald) and Nancy Phillips (Ronny); and his sister-in-law Billie Lyons.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home (96 S Main St, Pontotoc, MS 38863). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
