He was predeceased by: his parents, Doiss E. Medders and Ruby L. Medders; and his sister Janet Voelker. He is survived by: his wife Jynean Medders; his children, Karen Anderson (Tommy), Edward Lee Medders II (Denise) and Holly Perkins (Tom); his grandchildren, Edward L. Medders III, Ethan L. Medders (Brooke), Ezekiel L. Medders, Elias L. Medders, Makara Medders, Dawson G. McCord, Jessica Steele (Chandler), Katie Perkins and Gracie Perkins; his great grandchild Jackson Steele; and his brother Gerald D. Medders.
