He is survived by: his wife Debbie Knox Mitchell; his children, Lige Mitchell (Paris) and Dr. Katelyn Mitchell; his grandchildren, Halo and Cross Mitchell; and his siblings, Melanie Lake (Bill), Randy Mitchell and Scott Mitchell.
