He is survived by: his wife Norma Sappington of Ecru; his granddaughter Macie Tait (Rusty); his daughter-in-law Connie Sappington; his stepsons, Danny Whitworth (Sherry) and Stacy Whitworth (Martha); and his stepgrandchildren, Dana Shimek (Tony), Presley Carroll (Bryan), Bradley Whitworth (Anna) and Brooke Whitworth. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
