She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles A. Watkins of Columbus, GA and Ruth Essig Watkins of Arcadia, IN.; her husband Rev. Robert Jenkins; and her son Dr. Charles "Chuck" Jenkins. She is survived by: her children, Bobby Jenkins (Sherry Jenkins) of Tupelo and Donna Carol Jenkins Habel (Bruce) of North Carolina; her daughter-in-law Sheryl Jenkins of Oxford; and her grandchildren, Charles Shelby "C. J." Jenkins (Mary Margaret), Luke Jenkins, Robby Jenkins (Donielle), Nick Jenkins (Ashley), Meredith Jenkins, Andrew Habel and Kevin Habel (Lizzie Ann). She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
