She was predeceased by: her parents, James Milton and Annie Hale Coleman; her spouse J. C. Hooker; her son J. C. Hooker, Jr.; her granddaughter Amanda Carol Hooker; and her siblings, Bernice Sullivan, Dena Wise, Laverne Hunter, Nadine Hollander, Doris Brock (Dot), Gerald Wayne Coleman and Rayson Coleman.

She is survived by: her children, Pam Stephens (Greg) of Springville, TN and Tommy Hooker (Elaine) of Hendersonville, NC; her grandchildren, Alisha McMaster (Justin) of Springville, TN and Eric Stephens (Jamie) of Springville, TN; and her great grandchildren, Alexys Stephens, Darrius Stephens, Aubry McMasters, Paxton McMasters, Carter Stephens, Greyson Stephens and Alyza McMasters.
