He was predeceased by: his parents, Azile Gaspard and Eve Richard Gaspard; and his siblings, Mary Lou Simon, Lydia G. Monceaux, Virgie G. Plaisance and Howard Raymond Gaspard.

He is survived by: his wife Lottie Jean Coleman Gaspard of Pontotoc; his children, Johnny Wade Gaspard (Mandy) of Pontotoc and Jerilyn Johnston (Jay) of Baton Rouge; his grandchildren, John Grady Johnston (Annie), Jody Garrett Johnston (Olivia), Allie Mack Gaspard, Ella Jo Gaspard and Maggie Rose Gaspard; his great grandchildren, Chaucer, Xander, Davy and Remy; and his siblings, Laura Mae Breaux and John Gaspard.
