He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Lee and Lizzie Lyons Armstrong; and his siblings, Cornelius (Shirley), Johnny, Alma Tucker (Andy), Ilue Brim (Willie James) and Lizzie Braddock.
He is survived by: his siblings, Maggie Partlow of Detroit, MI, Sue Arnold of Plantersville, MS, Mattie Pruitt of St. Louis, William Armstrong (Pearlie) of Tupelo, MS and James Armstrong (Barbara) of Plantersville, MS; and his brother-in-law Wayne Braddock of Blue Mountain, MS.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
