She was predeceased by: her parents, William Arthur Herring and Ruth Louise Robison Herring; her former husband Thomas Gene Holcomb; her sons, William Thomas Holcomb, Ricky Joe Holcomb and James Earl Holcomb; and her granddaughter Elizabeth Holcomb.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Maples of Plantersville; her sons, Robert Owen Holcomb (Teresa) of Tupelo and Jimmy Allen Holcomb of Tupelo; and her sisters, Mary Clark of Tupelo and Debbie Hutcheson (Bill) of Guntown. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pegues Funeral Directors - Tupelo (535 W Jefferson St, Tupelo, MS 38804). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
