With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kay Wright of Pittsboro, Mississippi, born in Vardaman, Mississippi, who passed away on September 30, 2021 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruble Baker and Josie Chandler Baker; her husband William Earl Wright; her son Mark Wright; and her siblings, Joann Johnson, Barbara Winter, Patsy Baker, Ruble Baker and Billy W. Baker.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Patton (Tommy) of Pittsboro and Bryan Wright of Pittsboro; her grandchildren, Briana Childs (Eric) of Big Creek, Brennan Wright of Vardaman, Abbie Patton (Scott Shankle) of Pittsboro and Torie Patton (Moses Ruff) of Plantersville; her great grandchildren, Jett Shankle, Jedd Shankle of Pittsboro and Paxton Wright of Cedar Bluff; and her siblings, Bobbie Jean Landreth of Vardaman, Glenda Pumphrey (Raymond) of Houston, Benny Baker (Cecille) of Houston and Sammy Baker (Ann) of Falkner. She is also survived by three children, four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
